🌍 Students Take the Lead on Climate Action at the University of Exeter – May 8–9, 2025 🌿

On May 8–9, 2025, the University of Exeter will host a dynamic two-day event titled “Student Engagement & Deliberation on the University’s Climate and Sustainability Agenda.” This important gathering is part of the REDIRECT project and is funded by the European Union.

The event will bring together students, staff, and climate advocates to explore critical questions such as:

✅ How can students become more involved in debating the university’s sustainability strategy?
✅ What role can Student Citizen’s Assemblies play?
✅ How can students actively contribute to achieving sustainability goals?

As universities face growing pressure to align with global climate goals, this event aims to empower students as key stakeholders in shaping institutional strategies. Topics will range from climate crisis awareness to actionable solutions through participatory democracy.
