Team Leader: Federico Russo is Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Salento, Italy. His research focuses on legislative behaviour, political representation and European integration. Among his recente works, he authored the book MPs’ Roles and Representation (Routledge, 2022) and co-edited the Research Handbook on Political Representation (Edward Elgar, 2020) . He is co-editor of Interdisciplinary Political Studies, an Open Access journal published by the University of Salento.

Evelyn De Simone, Ph.D. in Human and Social Sciences, is a research fellow in Social Psychology at the University of Salento. She is assistant editor of the international journal “Community Psychology in Global Perspective”. She previously worked in an 18-month research project funded by the Apulia Region, on renewable energy communities. Her research interests focus on active participation, community resilience, sustainability and pro-environmental behaviors.

 

Terri Mannarini is Full Professor of Social Psychology at the University of Salento. She is currently Editor-in-Chief of the international journal ‘Community Psychology in Global Perspective’ and Board member of EICAP – European Institute of Cultural Analysis for Policy. Her research interests focus on active citizenship and participatory processes, community cohesion and resilience, migration and acculturation processes, and gender issues.

Alessia Rochira is Associate Professor in Social Psychology at the University of Salento. She is member of the Board of the EICAP – European Institute of Cultural Analysis for Policy – and of the SIPCO – Italian Society of Community Psychology (SIPCO). She is President of the Center on Women Studies of the University of Salento. Her research is based on a social and community psychology background, with a solid interdisciplinary attitude.

 

 

Elif Şeyma Şişman is a research fellow in the Department of Human and Social Sciences at the University of Salento and a PhD candidate in International Relations at the Department of European Union and International Economic Relations at Ankara University. She has been a visiting PhD student at the University of Salento through The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey International Research Fellowship Programme. Her research interests primarily focus on EU politics, governance, policies and discourses of climate change, and comparative politics.
