Andrew Shapp presented REDIRECT research at the British and Ireland Association of Political Thought annual conference in York, United Kingdom. The event brought together scholars working in political theory and the history of political thought to discuss contemporary debates on democracy, representation and political norms.
The presentation explored the relationship between democratic politics, civility and representative disconnect, examining how changing patterns of political communication and engagement influence the quality of democratic interaction.
