On 22 November 2023, Dario Castiglione (University of Exeter) presented the REDIRECT project at a UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) webinar focused on Horizon Europe Cluster 2: Democracy and Governance.
The webinar was aimed at researchers and institutions interested in upcoming funding opportunities under Horizon Europe. As part of the session, Castiglione introduced REDIRECT as an example of a successful ongoing project within the programme, offering insights into its objectives, structure, and methodological approach.
In addition to showcasing REDIRECT, the presentation provided practical advice to prospective applicants, drawing on the project’s experience with proposal development and transnational collaboration. The event thus contributed to knowledge sharing within the Horizon research community and helped position REDIRECT as a reference point for future work on democracy, representation, and trust in governance.
