Ani Zirakashvili is a Research Assistant at ARENA Centre for European Studies, University of Oslo. She holds a BA in International Relations from Tbilisi State University and an MPhil in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Oslo. Ani has completed internships at the Parliament of Georgia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. She previously worked as a Project Assistant at the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (GFSIS). Her academic interests span Russian foreign and security policy issues, hybrid threats and democratic backsliding in Georgia and, more generally, in Central and Eastern Europe.
